Mikaela Holmberg

Mikaela, is an internationally awarded photographer based in Finland, Hämeenlinna. She received her QEP in Fine Art photography in 2018 (Qualified European Photographer) She has worked as a full time photographer for over 15 years. Mikaela was born in 1981 in the archipelago of southern Finland. Her love for creativity and art has always been something she´s mostly been drawn to. While studying audiovisual communication in 2001-2004, she found herself in the darkroom most of the time developing negatives and pictures. She found that her love for still pictures was stronger than making moving pictures. Since then photography has been her way to express her inner world. Mikaela has a signature moody and painterly style that has developed during many years. She has actively seeked to establish her craft by traveling abroad to warious workshops with teachers such as Lindsay Adler, Bella Kotak, Magdalena Sienicka and Gemmy Woud-Binnendijk.

Mikaela speaks fluently finnish, swedish and english and is happy to provide service in these languages.
